NT-MDT at the jubilee XX International Symposium "Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics"
From 14 to 18 March in the city of Nizhny Novgorod was held a jubilee XX International Symposium "Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics». One of the main directions of this symposium was scanning probe microscopy. Company NT-MDT is the leader on the Russian market of SPM and acted not only as an official sponsor of the event, but also took direct participation in it.
Honor to open the section "Scanning Probe Microscopy" was delegated to Victor Aleksandrovich Bykov, General Director of NT-MDT and president of Nanotechnology Society of Russia. In his report "New features of scanning probe microscopy and spectroscopy" Viktor Aleksandrovich told about new developments in the field of micromechanics. Also he told about SPM system that are planned to be in serial production in this and next year. Pleased to note that this topic has caused a great interest among the audience, many of whom have been familiar with NT-MDT and devices produced by this company for a long time.>
Report of the Director of Engineering of NT-MDT Vyacheslav Viktorovich Polyakov "Application of the oscillating resonant and non-resonant techniques for characterization of various properties of surfaces in atomic force microscopy" was dedicated to innovative SPM techniques based on serially produced Hybrid controller, as well as the new HYBRID++ controller, start of sales of which is planned in the near future.
Another representative of the NT-MDT leading design engineer Dmitry Kazantsev spoke on "Apertureless microscopy of near optical field in the visible and mid-infrared region". In his report were represented the latest research in the field of optical methods, so-called method S-SNOM and techniques that provide the stable ultra-high optical resolution of 20-30 nm for the wide range of samples.
NT-MDT Co. would like to thank all the organizers and participants of the symposium for the creation of a friendly and warm atmosphere and an invaluable exchange of experience. Special thanks to our users that took part in the symposium, who shared with us their thoughts about the equipment and micromechanical products..
